ശ്രീലങ്ക പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മഹീന്ദ രാജപക്സെ ഇന്നലെ കോൺഗ്രസ് പാർട്ടി നേതാക്കളുടെ ഒരു സംഘവുമായി ഡല്ഹിയിൽ കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടത്തി. ഇരുരാജ്യങ്ങളും തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള ആശയങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ സൗഹാർദ്ദപരവുമായ ചർച്ച നടത്തിയെന്ന് രാഹുല് ഗാന്ധി പറഞ്ഞു.
മുന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഡോ. മന്മോഹന്സിംഗ്, രാജ്യസഭാ പ്രതിപക്ഷ ഉപനേതാവ് ആനന്ദ് ശര്മ്മ തുടങ്ങിയ നേതാക്കളാണ് രാഹുല് ഗാന്ധിക്ക് പുറമെ സംഘത്തില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.
