പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യലല്ല നീതിയെന്ന് സുപ്രീം കോടതി ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് എസ്എ ബോബ്ഡെ. നീതി പ്രതികാരമായാൽ അതിന്റെ സ്വഭാവം മാറുമെന്നും ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് പറഞ്ഞു. ജോധ്പുരിൽ രാജസ്ഥാൻ ഹൈക്കോടതിയുടെ പുതിയ കെട്ടിടം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
തെലങ്കാനയിൽ മൃഗഡോക്ടറെ ബലാൽസംഗം ചെയ്ത് കൊന്ന പ്രതികളെ പോലീസ് വെടിവെച്ചു കൊന്ന സംഭവത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലായിരുന്നു ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസിന്റെ പരാമർശം.
