പശ്ചിമബംഗാളിലും ഒഡീഷയിലും അംഫാൻ മൂലമുണ്ടായ വ്യാപകമായ നാശം അസ്വസ്ഥത സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് മുൻ കോൺഗ്രസ് അധ്യക്ഷൻ രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധി. അംഫനിൽ ജീവൻ നഷ്ടമായവർക്ക് രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധി അനുശോചനം അറിയിച്ചു. പരിക്കേറ്റവർ വേഗത്തിൽ സുഖം പ്രാപിക്കട്ടെയെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ദുരന്ത മുഖത്ത് ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് എല്ലാ പിന്തുണയും രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധി ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തു.
