തിരുവനന്തപുരം: മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ പേര് സമാധാനത്തിനുള്ള നൊബേല് പുരസ്കാരത്തിനു ശിപാര്ശ ചെയ്ത് ശശി തരൂര് എം.പി. കേരളം നേരിട്ട ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രളയ കാലത്ത് നടത്തിയ രക്ഷാപ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളെ മുന്നിര്ത്തിയാണ് ശശി തരൂരിന്റെ ശിപാര്ശ.
ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച കത്ത് നൊബേല് കമ്മിറ്റിക്ക് അയച്ച വിവരം തരൂര് ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെയാണ് പങ്കുവെച്ചത്. 'പ്രളയ സമയത്ത് മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികള് കാഴ്ചവെച്ച ധൈര്യത്തിന്റെയും സേവനത്തിന്റെയും ത്യാഗത്തിന്റെയും പേരില് അവരുടെ പേര് ശുപാര്ശ ചെയ്തെന്നാണ്' എംപി ട്വീറ്റിലൂടെ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത്.
