Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

Sephora Internship – Product Management, Sephora Technology Team

(January to June 2025)

  • Collaborating with stakeholders (including users, business and internal teams) to understand their needs and form clear product scopes – playing the key role between our commercial teams and our technology teams, incorporating business needs and requests into our technology implementations. 
  • Helping in crafting user stories and prioritising them based on business value and stakeholder input
  • Supporting in maintaining the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date, prioritised, and reflective of the product vision
  • Bridging the communication between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring that there is alignment on (technology) product requirements and priorities 
  • This internship provides a good opportunity & exposure to how business and technology come together, elevating Sephora’s omni-channel strategies and reinventing future of retail & consumer experiences 
  • Support our technology product team in the phase 2 launch of Beauty Bae chatbot – chatbot feature in Sephora’s mobile app 
  • Iterating on the successful proof of concept launch of our generative AI powered product, phase 2 will focus on scaling Beauty Bae in visibility and traffic 
  • Improving the front-end capabilities of the search feature on app to drive greater usage and better user experience
  • Targeted success metric: App engagement rate
