Job Summary: The Test Engineer designs and implements software based, automated test systems which collect, record, and report data on a device under test (DUT). The test engineer primarily develops software to interact with RF Test Equipment in an object-oriented programming environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Design and maintain software in C# using an object-oriented approach.
• Write modular, reusable code using well-constructed software functions.
• Work with cross functional team to determine test stand requirements, including required test equipment, custom hardware as needed.
• Be well versed in National Instruments VISA Driver and toolset, and the IVI.
• Be familiar with Test Equipment such as Keysight Vector Network Analyzers (PNA Series, ENA Series), Spectrum Analyzers (PXA Series), Power Supplies, and Oscilloscopes.
• Be familiar with computer communication interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, Serial Port, and GPIB.
• Be familiar with common RF performance specs such as Gain, P1dB, Noise Figure, IP2, IP3.
• Be familiar with revision control tools such as GIT.
• Ability to write technical reports and communicate with engineers, production personnel and customers.
• Provide user training and support where appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• Experience Years: 1-10
• Experience Type: Test Automation Systems Development, embedded systems development OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid, with travel to Marlborough MA, and Philadelphia, PA as needed up to 25%
