Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop statistical analysis plans and provide input for human studies, including clinical trials and observational research, for publication and grant proposals.
- Analyze nutritional, genetic, and ‘omic’ fluid biomarker data in relation to cognition, neuropathology, and neuroimaging outcomes.
- Create and implement innovative statistical methods for analyzing clinical trial and high-dimensional data.
- Develop and implement new data capture methods to streamline clinical research databases.
- Consolidate and organize datasets from clinical trials and observational studies for secondary analyses to support novel discoveries and preliminary sections of grant submissions.
- Advise on study design, sample size, and power calculations, ensuring the integrity of randomization schemes in clinical trials.
- Contribute to reports for the Data and Safety Monitoring Board and the Food and Drug Administration.
- Build and lead a team of analysts to support the Center as additional funding becomes available.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Promote a collaborative lab environment, enhancing technical skills and strategies to optimize data management, analysis, and reporting throughout the center.
- Support efforts to secure and maintain research grants and other funding sources to advance the research mission of the center.
Requirements: - 3+ years biostatistics experience coming from hospital / research institution
- Bachelor's degree required
