Your Role
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will:
Conduct telehealth psychiatric evaluations for adolescents and adults, and manage medication for those with mental health challenges.
Prescribe controlled substances as necessary and provide psychiatry support for IOP and PHP groups.
Order and review diagnostic tests and labs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Uphold high-quality care standards in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and accrediting bodies.
Collaborate with a diverse team to ensure optimal outcomes for all patients.
Utilize an integrated EHR system for scheduling, documentation, prescription management (including EPCS), and lab orders.
Enjoy a predictable schedule without on-call responsibilities, with team support for scheduling and billing.
Qualifications
Licensure: You must be continuously licensed in good standing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Arizona.
DEA License: A current Arizona DEA license is required to initiate credentialing.
Experience: 1-2 years of independent clinical experience with adolescents and adults is preferred.
Clearance: Must provide a current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and ensure it is kept up to date.
Malpractice Coverage: If contracted, you must maintain malpractice liability coverage.
