Are you an experienced Electrical, Software or Test Design Engineer with 6+ years of experience looking for the next step to grow your career? Do you want to design and develop test solutions and/or write test software that is mission critical and be a part of a greater cause? We need your talent, motivation, and vision to join our New Hampshire based team. BAE Systems has recently been awarded new programs and is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth. We have multiple positions in Southern New Hampshire (our locations include Nashua, Hudson, Merrimack and Manchester).

BAE Systems is searching for a RF Principal Test Engineer with experience in developing automated test software solutions. The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter, able to complete assignments with little oversight while being available as a subject matter expert and technical lead to their team. They must be able to assume a full or partial lead role as circumstances dictate, and be able to quickly and dynamically switch focus to accommodate the daily activities of an engineering team supporting a production environment. This individual should be comfortable providing accurate technical status to program management or direction to individual contributors as part of their job function, as well as interfacing with other engineering disciplines as necessary.

  • Microwave/RF measurements

    • Compression
    • Phase noise
    • etc.
  • Proficiency in C# is desirable

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Programming Languages: Proficient in C,C++ and C#
  • Test solution software integration
  • Experience with RF test development for production, employing RF Test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators, etc.)
  • Experience using NI LabWindows CVI and TestStand
  • Experience with RF Measurement techniques and ability to diagnose and resolve to root cause measurement anomalies.
  • Possess good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication
  • Takes initiative and has a closure-oriented nature

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience in supporting factory production test stands, debug, problem isolation, and resolution.
·Experienced in developing RF test measurements for production
·Ability to perform test solution development:
  • Hardware Focus (test adapters, cables, tools, and interface modules)
  • Software Focus (drivers, utilities, executives, and test software)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
