Position Summary
CNE is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the strategic direction and operational success of the organization and its subsidiaries. The President & CEO will provide overall leadership, set long-term goals, and ensure alignment across all entities while fostering collaboration and maintaining the distinct identities of each subsidiary. This role involves leading strategic and capacity-building projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The President & CEO will be hired by the Board of Directors and will report to the Board's Executive Committee, with direct supervision from the Board President. Five staff members will report directly to the President & CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Fundraising and Revenue Growth: Develop and maintain relationships with public sector entities, identifying grant opportunities and public/private partnerships. Engage with foundations and high-net-worth individuals to secure funding and cultivate lasting donor relationships.
Visionary Leadership: Lead the organization in completing its current strategic plan while providing a bold vision for the future. Focus on strengthening housing security, promoting healthy neighborhoods, fostering financial well-being, and growing organizational capacity and impact.
Growth of CNE Lending: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the newly established CDFI loan portfolio and services, working closely with the VP of Lending and Operations.
Real Estate Development: Guide the team in identifying and implementing real estate projects aligned with CNE's mission, ensuring sustainability and community impact.
Management of CNE Homes: Oversee the new initiative, "CNE Homes," aimed at increasing the supply of affordable housing while driving financial success.

A Real Estate Development Expert: Knowledgeable in real estate development, especially affordable housing and neighborhood revitalization.
An Entrepreneurial Thinker: Able to identify and seize opportunities for growth and innovation.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000. Benefits include:
20 days of paid time off (increasing with tenure) and 12 paid holidays
Employer-paid medical and dental plan (75% subsidized for employee, 70% for spouse/dependents)
403(b) retirement plan with 5% employer contribution
