We are seeking an enthusiastic Lab Assistant Adjunct Instructor to join our dynamic team at our Lafayette Campus. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Program Director to deliver high-quality instruction in the Lab Assistant program while fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Support: Collaborate with the Program Director to design, develop, and deliver course content for the Lab Assistant program.
Curriculum Development: Assist in the creation and refinement of curriculum to ensure it meets industry standards and prepares students for entry-level positions in the field.
Faculty Development: Support faculty recruitment, orientation, and training initiatives, ensuring that instructors are well-equipped to deliver excellent education to students.
Staffing Recommendations: Provide feedback and recommendations regarding staffing decisions, such as hiring, promotions, or disciplinary actions, to the Campus Dean.
Student Success: Monitor student progress, attendance, and retention rates, working proactively to support students in achieving their academic goals.
Program Oversight: Assist with the coordination of student orientations, graduation ceremonies, and Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings to ensure smooth operation of the program.
Technology Integration: Stay up to date with technological advancements in the field, and help integrate new tools and methodologies into the curriculum.
Academic Leadership: Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of faculty and staff involved in the Lab Assistant program, ensuring alignment with program goals and quality standards.
Professionalism: Foster a positive and professional environment on campus, maintaining effective relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
Travel: Travel as needed to support program activities and professional development.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in clinical laboratory science or a related field
Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
Other Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a diverse group of students and staff
Strong organizational and leadership skills
A commitment to student success and lifelong learning
Flexibility to work on-site or remotely, as needed, in accordance with campus policies
