About VIVA Finance

-VIVA Finance is systematically changing how consumers are overlooked in accessing and managing credit. The VIVA difference is that we underwrite our loans using employment information rather than credit score, allowing workers with stable jobs to access affordable credit that many wouldn’t have otherwise.

-Founded in 2019, we are a venture-backed start-up that is lean and growing quickly. We hit cash flow positive in May and continue to hit new milestones of growth each month. We are growing the product team to further support our personal lending product and engineering team, and to support the building of new products to diversify our revenue streams.

Your role in our mission

We're looking for someone with experience in or eager to learn project management to join our growing product team. We have now originated over 150 million dollars in loans, but we are focused on continued growth in the coming year both on our current loan product and looking to expand our product offerings. This role will be integral in helping VIVA to scale and create an inclusive financial system that works for hard-working people.

The Essentials and Duties

Awesome if

· You have 1-2 years of work experience in a BA or PM role.

· You have technical experience or a basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.

· You have experience with GitHub, Jira, or other project management/engineering software.

· You are ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved with other areas of the business.

What You'll Do

· Manage and prioritize product tickets, supporting smooth workflow and task delegation for the engineering team and designer.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets market needs.

· Assist with one-off tasks, partner management, and operational support.

· Document key project management tasks and duties and assist with product road mapping.

· Grow with us! As you gain experience, you’ll take on more responsibility for product strategy and planning.
