Job Description

LaSalle Network is partnered with a leading global provider of automated intralogistics systems on a Customer Service & Logistics Manager for their US subsidiary in Chicago. This fast-growing company is seeking a driven, strategic thinker to oversee the sales and logistics operations for the North American market (USA, Canada and Mexico).

As our client is continuing to optimize value chains for their customers, the Customer Service & Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing sales processes and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and quality across the board.

Customer Service & Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead the spare parts sales process from offer to payment, implementing necessary KPIs to evaluate service efficiency and quality
  • Assess team performance and allocate resources effectively across accounts and regions
  • Ensure timely achievement of spare parts offers and orders in compliance with Service Level Agreements
  • Oversee the warranty process, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Manage financial and operational KPIs of the 3PL logistics contract
  • Optimize and maintain inventory levels based on market demand and collaborate with headquarters on sourcing strategies
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Third-Party Logistics Supplier
  • Develop metrics reporting and perform data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company operations
Customer Service & Logistics Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in B2B material supply within the industrial automation sector
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office Suite (Excel is a must)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally for training and alignment with headquarters
