Job Description

The Proclean Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician works as part of the team that provides exhaust cleaning for systems that gather grease in the duct-work and exhaust systems in such businesses as schools, restaurants, hotels, medical facilities and other establishments with commercial kitchens. The KEC Technician also does general kitchen cleaning and kitchen equipment cleaning. This is an entry level position with no experience necessary. Proclean will train motivated people who are willing to learn and work at a fast pace. Our technicians provide many services to the commercial cooking industry...kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, cleaning appliances, walls, floors, ceilings, pressure washing, window cleaning, disinfecting and much more. Must be flexible with work hours. Start time is usually between 6pm and 8pm, mostly night work. The start and end times change based on the customers' needs. Experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial work is a plus. Must be able to stand, bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs, climb a ladder, among other physical demands. Must have a valid Driver’s license in order to drive our company vehicles.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Must be reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to quality work.
