About PayOnward:  

PayOnward has created a cloud native digital payments suite that allows community based financial institutions to directly participate in the emerging digital commercial payments market for their business customers and retail digital payments through a single AI driven universal payment hub. PayOnward has designed a better way to process payments at a lower cost to optimize cash flow and allow community-based institutions to compete and win. PayOnward was created to provide more advanced digital payment tools for community based financial institutions so they can recapture their role as the center of commerce for their community. PayOnward will bring the Community Based Financial Institutions (CBFIs) back to the center of eCommerce for their communities. 

Who we are looking for:  

PayOnward is looking for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated, detail oriented professional to join our growing team as Chief Executive Officer. As a key member of the team, this individual will be an integral member of a growing team of hard-working and experienced professionals. The candidate will work closely with our Board of Directors, the Black Dragon Capital Team and other key management. The ideal candidate needs to be able to look at the big picture with an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as have high energy and a high-performance track record. A proven background in driving sales and revenue growth is necessary, as well as a history of execution. The candidate will have a strong operational background in managing the functions of a technology-based operating companies and experience working with professional investors (VC/PE) and delivering commercial expectations. 

What you will be working on:  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create a dynamic payment processing platform that supports business payments, consumer payments, merchant transactions and bill pay functions. 
• Be a proactive leader in addressing business challenges, providing technical and operational advice to the team.
• Develop a business prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion. 
• Developing high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives 
• Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team. 
• Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission. 
• Contribute and help manage the investor relations function including supporting any fundraising activity, transaction support including due diligence coordination, and the closing process.
• Ensure that the company has the right measurements tools at the right time to provide insights into areas of focus within the firm and its portfolio. 

About You:  

We are looking for an individual with a strong financial technology operating background who has experience dealing with venture capital and/or private equity and their expectations. Should have experience in technology and SAP business models.

• Must be an expert in the various financial payment rails and how to maximize each. International payment experience is a large plus. 
• MS/MA in business administration or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a CEO in similar industry.
• Proven sales track-record and ability to lead and drive sales forward. 
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• In-dept knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
• Venture capital and Private Equity background with transactional experience is preferred.
• Investor relations and investor presentations.
