Dickies Arena is a 14,000 seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC). The state-of-the-art arena hosts concerts, sporting events and family entertainment, and is the new home to Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

Job Description :
The Building Technician II with Mechanical skills serves in a vehicle & building maintenance position, performing work tasks repairing, servicing and maintaining various company vehicles and equipment, plus repairing, servicing and maintaining commercial building equipment. This would include, but is not limited to performing minor repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to various Company vehicles and equipment, plus repairs and preventive maintenance to HVAC Systems, Lighting & Electrical Systems, F&B Equipment and Plumbing Systems along with all other types of building related equipment & systems. All repairs and maintenance work performed by this position would be in compliance with all current Building codes, and all your work must be performed in a professional manner with a technical competence. The successful candidate must be willing to work a flexible work schedule with a minimum of 40 hours per week. This includes being able to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts as dictated by Arena events and scheduled by the Director of Engineering and Assistant Chief Engineer. This position will be working in a Multipurpose Arena and adjacent Parking facilities, providing a safe, well-maintained building environment for Arena staff clients and patrons.

This position requires employee to frequently work both independently and as part of a team. Position also requires being able to recognize and resolve conflicts, by being able to openly communicate with clients and guests
Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will frequently operate a computer and other office devices such as calculators, telephones, copy machines and printers. Employee will constantly move about inside and outside various areas of the facility before/during/after events to interact with internal/external clients and supervise the work of employees during events. Employee must constantly communicate via telephone, radios, email and in-person with others and exchange accurate information. Employee may occasionally be required due to business demands and event operations to lift and/or move
up to 75 pounds. As business, maintenance, operations or emergency situations require, employee may sporadically assist in lifting/moving 100 lbs. or more.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to work in outside weather conditions; however, the duties of this position are performed primarily indoors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, with the exception of event days, where the sound levels may be higher than moderate. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
