തിരുവനന്തപുരം: കേരളത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര, ആഭ്യന്തര വിമാന സര്‍വീസുകള്‍ എയര്‍ ഇന്ത്യ എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പില്ലാതെ റദ്ദാക്കിയതില്‍ അടിയന്തര ഇടപെടല്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് കേന്ദ്ര വ്യോമയാന മന്ത്രിക്ക് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് കത്തയച്ചു. യാത്ര മുടങ്ങിയാല്‍ ജോലി നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവരുള്‍പ്പെടെ ഇന്നുതന്നെ വിദേശത്ത് എത്തേണ്ടവരാണ് യാത്രക്കാരില്‍ പലരും. വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലെത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് വിമാനം റദ്ദായത് യാത്രക്കാര്‍ അറിയുന്നത്. മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം കാത്തിരുന്ന യാത്രക്കാര്‍ക്ക് ഭക്ഷണവും താമസവും നല്‍കാന്‍ പോലും എയര്‍ ഇന്ത്യ തയാറാകുന്നില്ല. കേന്ദ്ര വ്യോമയാന മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്‍റെ അടിയന്തര ഇടപെടല്‍ ഉണ്ടാകണമെന്നും പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് കത്തില്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.

Many people heading to the Middle East face the risk of losing their employment since they will be unable to return on time. According to reports, Air India did not even extend the courtesy of giving the stranded passengers with food or accommodation.
